This adapter is perfect for workshops, garages or utility rooms in getting more outlets where you need them. The light is controlled by the attached pull chain. The adapter is for indoor use only. To install, just turn off the fixtures and take out the existing bulb. Then screw in the adapter and replace the bulb. You can turn on the lighting fixture and start using the additional outlets. Do not exceed the electrical ratings for the switch/lamp holder at 125VAC and 250W, and the outlets at 125VAC and 660W. The Power Gear 2-Outlet Socket Adapter is UL Listed.
